Get notified when Central Florida ADU rules change — new county ordinances, fee updates, and Florida law developments delivered to your inbox.
The Dispatch is a short email I send when something material changes in Central Florida ADU law: a county amends its ordinance, a city launches an incentive program, an impact fee shifts, or a state bill actually gets signed.
What you’ll get. Plain summaries with the source linked. Most emails run under 300 words. New county and city pages get announced when I publish them. Deep-dive pieces on costs, financing, builders, and approvals go out when they’re written, not on a schedule. Every email has a standing offer at the bottom: hit reply with a specific snag — a setback question, a utility hookup issue, a county office that won’t return your calls — and I’ll write back. Sometimes the answer turns into a site page.
What you won’t get. A weekly cadence whether or not anything happened. Affiliate dumps. Retargeting pixels. Anyone else’s mailing list. I run this solo and don’t sell or share addresses.
How often. Lately about once or twice a month, but it’s strictly event-driven. Quiet legislative sessions mean quiet inboxes.
Coverage. All nine Central Florida counties — Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, Volusia — and their incorporated cities. State-level Florida ADU law and any preemption bills moving through Tallahassee.
If you’d rather watch passively, the updates page is the same log without the email.
